While I condemn Hamas for what they have done, I do fully understand the reason why. For over 56 years the Palestinian people have suffered great indignities, having their drinking water poisoned, 4 hours of electricity a day, little food and fuel to name a few (all thanks to Israel) they are completely blocked in by a 40 foot wall with no chance of escape coupled by constant bombing and harassment while the western world have turned a blind eye. Is it little wonder that when backed into a corner, some day you will come out all guns blazing?
Having been there in 2013 and lived with a family (who are now displaced) I can see this from their perspective.
Palestinian people just want the right to live peacefully like you and I, they are most resourceful and intelligent, many have degrees and continued to better themselves, while being most generous people and would give you anything although they don't have much they would share whatever they could.
I get very angry with the media because it is so one-sided. The lies being told with no grain of truth in them when the facts speak differently which of course never comes to light. (do some research)
Fact 1: Most importantly are you aware that Israel funded and encouraged Hamas in 1987 to help them fight the PLO? No of course not, cant let the world know that can they or you wouldn't be sympathetic with them.
Fact 2: Avner Cohen (Israeli minister) said “Hamas to my great regret, is Israel's creation” Also quoted “it took 20 years to build up, and 20 years to bomb, besiege and blockade out of existence.” Israel in 1987 also invented a divide and rule policy, seems to be working!
Now ask yourself these questions:
I have seen documentaries from Jewish people who condemn Israel for what they are doing, as we know not all Jewish people are in league with this war, the same can be said for many hundreds of thousands around the world.
What is the answer?
Truthful politicians and leaders, those not out for greed but humanitarian causes throughout the world.
Those who would sit and talk through any adversity to find a peaceful, humanitarian solution.
Food for thought
Israel actions at present is more approaching revenge than self-defence.
What monetary gains can be made by peace whereas by producing war equipment, now that makes money.
This world is so unjust and spiralling out of control.
These are just my thoughts as I see it
